Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011) by Scott J — 27 Apr 2011
I've never read the book. However, given that this movie takes place in 2016-2017 that may be irrelevant, although I'm sure the concept is the same. This movie is not a clear beginning or end, hence the part 1 (of 3).
It's basically a tale of entrepreneurship vs corrupt regulation by bureaucrats that is "done for the benefit of all". But, in reality is done as a matter of socialized government control over its own people.
I'm anxious to see Part 2 & I definitely recommend seeing this movie.
