Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011) by Scott O — 25 Nov 2011

I strongly believe that the critics who expressed negative reviews of this film are espousing their political and social views, not reviewing this film.

I would have loved to have seen it in the theater (it wasn't shown locally), so I had to wait to rent it on Amazon: I later purchased it on Blu-ray. While it is true that it doesn't have a Hollywood blockbuster budget, it does have high production value. The acting is excellent, the cinematography beautiful, and the score is fitting. If you haven't seen it yet, I strongly encourage you to do so. I can't wait for for the opportunity to see part 2.
