Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011) by Miguel G — 23 Apr 2011
Although it has some corny cinematic devices, and the acting falls flat and spiritless at times, the gist of the philosophy gets across and the plot holds up against the casting. Overall, if you can see past a few annoying mistakes, it's an entertaining movie.
I'd watch it again. Though if you are new to Ayn Rand, don't take it for a definitive source of her philosophy. Rather, take your interest and read her books. Start with The Fountainhead.
