The pans by top critics are ludicrous, it just goes to show how out of touch Hollywood has become with morality and the common person. This movie was not badly acted out as everyone would have you believe, it was done very well considering the budget and the opposition it faced.
It still faces opposition for the same reasons the protagonists faced opposition in the film! What a testament to the veracity of it's theme.
