Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011) by Fr. J. S — 04 May 2011
The movie Hollywood doesn't want you to see.
Who is John Galt? The mystery that drives the story remains in the end to draw the viewer back for the sequel(s). The acting was a little flat, and the dialogue a bit esoteric, but it comes together to give a somewhat surreal air that was oddly intriguing.
Dont mind the critics. Ironically, the flick is about liberals conspiring to suppress new ideas and innovation--exactly what Hollywood had done to this movie that dares to depict a different angle on government and entrepreneurship. That in itself may make this a cult classic on dvd.
