Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011) by Ray G — 05 May 2011
This film was a fantastic adaptation of the book. The book having @1,000 pages seemed as though it could never be turned into a movie but they really pulled it off and mangaged to hit on the important messages (afterall it is a message movie) and kept the score running throughout and the pace was terrific.
The casting was fantastic (except for maybe Francisco..I expected more of a Armand Assante type) but overall I was very impressed. Maybe someone who had not read the book would have felt a little left out in places but even the flaws in production fit what was going on in the country.
.everything was breaking down and outdated etc... Solid B on the film itself..A on adaptation and delivering very detailed messages in a fairly short film.
