Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011) by Brooke H — 10 May 2011
If you are lucky enough to be near a theater playing this movie, GO! Ayn Rand is a genius and a prophet. It is a good wake up call for those of us who have become complacent about the economy, government involvement in big business, unions, and socialism.
You have to come into this movie understanding that the book takes 80 hours to read so the movie will leave a lot of questions, but it is well worth a drive to see it. It will probably take three movies to cover the whole book. I hope they continue to receive the funding for the rest of the movie. Kudos to the producers! I never expected Hollywood to support making the book into a movie because of it's political message.
