It's well done and I am eager to see the second film. The acting, direction and sets are spot on.
There are those that will complain that the film is a "coles notes" version of the book, and they are not wrong, but the book would take 3 or 4 films to cover the book in any real way, Johansson does an impressive job. I've never been fanatical about Rand but it is a great book and a good movie.
