Why did Ayn's Estate allow this? Ayn held out for her entire lifetime, refusing to allow anyone to wreck her book with a cheap, badly done movie. And yet, this is even worse than Hollywood would have done? Flat, stale, surface-level, not to mention the bad acting (and casting.
) If you haven't read the (masterful) novel, you will NOT get this movie. Why 2016? This movie is a heartbreaking travesty for true Rand AS fans. At least The Fountainhead movie had class.
