Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011) by Eric R — 31 Mar 2012
For a low budget picture, as they used to say in Hollyweird, "it's all up there on the screen." Cast is good, especially Beckel ("LA Confidential") as Ellis Wyatt, the latest of the "Men of the Mind" to leave w/ Galt, headed for an undisclosed location.
This is a movie about ideas, the chief one of which involves this question: why should you have to live your life for strangers? Rand fans will love it, Rand haters will hate it. But it's gonna make a ton of profit, and there's nothing wrong with that.
