Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011) by Jeff P — 15 Oct 2012
In the year 2016 gasoline is $37.50 a gallon...by law a corporation that is profitable will no longer be allowed to fire any employees...the railway system is the main source of transportation in the US of A.
..the battle between 2 railway systems is at its most cutthroat of any business...this begins the magnum opus re-imagining of Ayn Rands 4th and last book The book that also explores a dogmatic dystopian United States where many of society's most productive citizens refuse to be exploited by increasing taxation and government regulations and go on strike.
The book, released in 1957 mirrors many of today's current events amidst the current fuel and job crisis....a must see for sure.
