Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011) by Mark B — 21 Mar 2013

I just saw this movie on DVD and now know why the "professional reviewers" didn't like it: because of it's subject matter. I don't agree with everything Ayn Rand says, but obviously the reviewers don't want the public to see it.

Hmmm, I thought education and discussion were paramount.. Yes, it was not a barn burner in terms of plot and pace. But the acting, effects cinematography was just fine. Yes, it's lower budget than some movies, but I've seen well reviewed low budget movies that were worse than this, that were well reviewed because the reviewers really wanted "the subject out there and discussed" and so rated it higher.

So, I now really only trust the Audience opinions on this site.
