Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011) by Scott W — 25 Mar 2012
In a twist the monopoly companies are the honest, hard working good guys and the bleeding harts of the world are back stabbing SOBs. The politicians are out to destroy big business but its not really clear why.
Doesn't need to be for this movie though which is a champion of big business, but does give a great reflection on how one's pride in making something that really works can get really pissed at those that keep road-blocking them to keep things 'fair'.
Also shows that a movie really can make anyone the good guy and anyone the bad guy. In my opinion greed is the devil and can strike either side quickly. A big business boy/girl can really just enjoy their work like a small business boy/girl.
the two could be the same exact person if things where just a little different. Like wise small or big business can be run by a douche just as easily as a 'hero'. I just thought this one was just a little too over the top and unrealistic, especially since it 'inspired' people who are real movers and shakers for this crap economy we have now in the US.
