Review of Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011) by Odirony — 19 Apr 2011
I went to see the movie with next to no knowledge of Rand or the subject matter of the story. I found the movie engaging - not riveting, but engaging - and thought it was beautifully shot. There were several minor things that showed the historical era in which it was written - the ease in which some one could get to a very wealthy industrialist, for example.
That said, by the end I was intrigued enough to want to read the book and am now looking forward to future cinema installments.
