Review of Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) by Spencer P — 08 May 2018

I remember seeing this in theaters as a kid and then dozens of times over on DVD (memorizing the whole thing), then I took a break for several years to look at the bigger film spectrum. Coming back, I realize that not only is it frantically paced, but unevenly as well, with enough character story and logic to satisfy an 8-year-old: next to none.

For an adult, it's exhausting but still visually amazing and inspired, and aesthetically helped by a perfect voice cast and a fantastic score.
