Review of Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) by Chantal B — 04 Jul 2015

The design work of Mike Mignola is amazing to watch in Disney Animated style, and the script by Joss Whedon is full of quotable quips. One of my favourite films growing up for just those reasons, although the villain and their plot is hardly an intelligent one. (Afterall, wealth and riches will come from just discovering Atlantis. You hardly need to steal anything.) However, it doesn't gum up the story. Sequences like Kida's Transformation and the Attack of the Fireflies are some of the best bits of animation I've seen.

Also, Vinny looks like my dad, so extra humour for me.
