Review of Atlantic City (1980) by Scott R — 11 Feb 2018
I watched this after visiting Atlantic City and the film certainly catches something of the place and the people it attracts. And the performances are good too. But this is very dated, particularly in its portrayal of Sally, the central female character.
It is very hard to believe any woman would fall for a man who tells her he has been spying on her, let alone one old enough to be her grandfather. So unless you have a special reason to watch this as l did, do not bother.
