(4 stars out of 5) Sean Penn shows star power in an early role as a teenager who is taken in by his father's life of crime played by the ever menacing and diabolical Christopher Walken. This dark film based on a true story also brought us Madonna's "Live To Tell" which was perfectly chosen as the score and the title track.
