Review of Astro Boy (2009) by Grace M — 11 Apr 2010
It met my expectations almost to a T, I knew it would have some campy parts for the kids, and also have adult humor. I wasn't particularly thrilled with the climactic ending, but it could have been much worse.
Out of all of the characters, I'd say using Nicholas Cage as the father was a mistake, his voice is too noticeable, and kind of takes your mind off of the movie and into the sound stage where he recorded.
However, they really did well with Astro Boy's voice. The humor was solid, and the plot progression was alright, so I would give it my seal of approval.
