This is a updated animated movie of the classic Astro Boy cartoon. I was always a fan of Astro Boy as a kid. I watched his classic cartoon episodes all the time when I was young. This film stays some what true to the original cartoon.
The story with the death of Dr.Tenma son who creates a robot in the image of the boy with the memories. The look of the animation keeps to most of the original look of the cartoon. It was very well done.
Plus this film has a great voice cast. A fun story and good animation makes this a solid watch that adults and kids can enjoy. I had a few good laughs in this movie. Well worth a one time watch for those who enjoyed Astro Boy when they were young or for kids and newcomers to this character.
