Review of Assault on Wall Street (2013) by Alec G — 23 Mar 2014
This movie at first starts off slow but picks up speed and then you are hooked all about Wall Street and the money hungry stoke brokers that are like snakes slithering around to get anyone's money any which way they know how. This film revolves around Dominic Purcell's character going rogue after he looses his wife his house his money all because of Wall Street.
The movie is like Wolf of Wall Street with more guns less nudity.
The reason why I gave it four stars is because of John Heards lines near the end of the movie if this movie is worth watching its because if his last few lines in the movie just check this movie out because of that.
For an hour Dominic just watches his world crumble around him and then a switch flips and he goes all Prison Break mode. He sticks up newspaper clipping of all the bad Wall Street guys and goes on a one man mission to take those tall poppies out.
Do I recommend this movie yes I do but only for the grownups no kiddies allowed.
On a side note I find it funny how most movies made in the last two years are about crooked bankers stock brokers etc.. You have Wolf of Wall Street on the top of the list then I would say this movie and even Woody Allen's Blue Jasmine main subject is a crooked broker and how he gets caught and his wife looses the plot.
Whats going on in this world that we live in.
Give this movie a go you will be surprised and like I said just watch it for John Heards last few lines in the movie totally worth it.
