Review of Assault on Precinct 13 (2005) by Jason V — 01 Jul 2012
The original was great!
This remake is shi... great too!
Lol.
No but seriously, reeeeally different, and reeeeeally cool.
You don't breathe a moment, you can't pretend to have been bored, you are often surprised, you don't guess all that'll happen, you suspect a lot of people, you dunno you are or not the betrayers...
The actors are good, so, you believe in their characters, and you penetrate completely the story.
The music is cool (specially the excellent rap song of the credits), the sets are really nice, a lot of stunts, effects, explosions, gunfights, suspens, tension... all that makes a to-see actioner.
If I had anyway to point a bad side, it's some of the dialogues.
Tooo predictable, pueril, cliché, stupid... but it concerns only a few part of them, so, it's not that bad.
