This may be the only review of this little gem of a film, and that's a shame. This is a low budget venture that feels bigger. Very creative and stylized with good performances by the lead actors, this should have seen at least a limited release in theaters. With bigger names, I am sure we would be hearing more about this film.

Interesting storytelling choices by director Arthur Louis Fuller give this complicated tale an edge. With an obvious nod to Tarantino (as well as a few other filmmakers), the story focuses on three assassins, with a number of sub-plots and characters entering the picture. Michael Beach, Anna Silk and Guy Garner (co-writer with director Fuller) portray the three assassins and give their characters an "every man" feel about them, dealing with the real life issues most of us deal with. No stereotypical hitmen here. I especially enjoyed the performances of Garner and Kaiwi Lyman, who plays the ring leader of these assassins. Really good actors I'd like to see more of.

The director left a lot of questions unanswered, forcing the audience to draw its own conclusions. I watched this film with my wife and another couple. We discussed and argued certain story points and ended up watching it again. It was better the second time around!

While not perfect, Assassins Tale is a thinking mans/womans film, and I highly recommend it and hope to see more reviews on here.
