Review of Assassin's Creed (2016) by Andrew W — 20 Jan 2017
A film that starts well with an intriguing story matching up present day with the distant past. Swooping shots and fast cut-edits in a style akin to John Woo meeting a rock video director. The action is reasonably exciting but the film loses its way at the end, the last ten minutes feel like they have been tacked on hurriedly and don't fit comfortably with the rest of the film.
