The script and the pace hurt this otherwise interesting attempt to bring the huge AC franchise from the video game world to the big screen. Fassbender is a good lead and when there is action it´s really fun to see.

But the overall arc of the movie feels unfulfilling and there is too much time spent on the present instead off the more interesting past where the actual assassins work. Personally the Spanish speaking parts are a good attempt at giving more credibility but ends up just distracting you even more.
