I'll never trust critics again. I watched this film on HBO thinking it would be terrible, but I was curious. I think the only thing they could improve on would be the end, it was too quick in my tastes for Jeremy irons character.
Other than that, I enjoyed the effects, story, and music very much. Perhaps I just ignored the hype beforehand and wasn't expecting much. Now I wished I saw it in theaters when it came out instead of trusting critics.
