Review of Assassins... (1992) by Suveera A — 13 Nov 2007
The #1 Action Hero Sylvester Stallone is never more seriously challenged than he is here by his shadow nemesis Antonio Banderas, in an absolutely delightful and psychotic role. I admit for once, and only this once, I enjoyed someone else more other than my #1 fave actor Stallone, in a Stallone film.
The story delivers pure cat-and-mouse thrills and Banderas never lets down, pushing on towards the surprise ending. This action-packed film showing the lonesome assassin and his desolation was fun and exciting, as Stallone/Banderas shared great on-screen chemistry together.
