Review of Assassination Tango (2003) by Daniel V — 11 Sep 2008
The aspect that made this film very strong was the fact that John, Played by Robert Duvall, has an uncommon passion for dancing other than his perfect skills in killing. He is so human, and it moralizes and ignores the fact that he's a contract killer.
What's also fascinating is that he is very old, and doesn't care to share a little bit to strangers. If the movie was set to have a younger character, most of the story itself wouldn't cut out to be all that good.
Basically he's calling it a day in a overall aspect. Great film, and directed by a great actor.
