Review of Assassination Games (2011) by Jay L — 12 Aug 2014
This Van Damme adventure is one of his newest films and like any Van Damme movie, it has it's ups and downs. However, Assassination Games has a nice pace to it with some solid action scenes, but a lot of that has to do with JCVD co-star Scott Adkins.
If you love action movies, then you would like Adkins. The man is a legit butt kicker who holds his own on screen with Van Damme. This actioner gets 3 out of 5 stars on the Damme meter due to the fact that it has a pretty good story with plenty of blood and bullets.
JCVD may not be as involved in the fighting this time around, but that is not a bad thing because Adkins takes up the slack nicely.
