Absolutely love this book. Probably my favorite of Fante's "Bandini Quartet." The movie was no disappointment, although they flipped some stuff around. They pretty much had to to make it play out as a film.

Arturo is the perfect character for someone like Farrell to play and the relationship between Arturo and Camilla is unlike anything else. A great look into the life of a struggling writer in 1940s/50s LA.

Now, they need to make "The Road to Los Angeles" a movie, if they can figure that out.
