A decent romance with a good Mexican feel to it. However, it did feel a bit similar to "Head in the Clouds" (with Charlize Theron), without having the love triangle. It's a bit hard to take Farrell seriously when he usually plays the crazy hard-headed villians/corrupt anti-heroes.
