Review of Ask the Dust (2006) by Simone S — 02 Feb 2008
An OK story set in the 30's about an Italian writer who moves to L.A. to find a blue eyed blond and get his career moving. The story is not as good as I would have liked. As you would guess by the cover he found a Mexican waitress (Hayek) instead of his blond.
Their relationship is full of fire and leads to lots of race issues. Not a bad movie, just not great either.
