Review of Ask Me Anything (2014) by Jon C — 03 Jun 2015
A very realistic take on upcoming sexual awakening during youth.
The lovely and talented Britt Robertson takes on a more dramatic role of a college student sleeping with as many older men to make herself feel fulfilled with ease.
Little does she know that it affects her other relationships like her parents and herself.
She does all of this promiscuity while writing about her happenings in a blog for the public to gobble up.
It's a delightful cast from Justin Long to Christian Slater to Martin Sheen to Robert Patrick.
By the end of the movie it's very heavy although the final scene really did feel tacked on just to give it some edge.
But Britt Robertson carries the film with her confusing cycle of seduction and vulnerability.
The lighting is crystal clear, good acting, heavy drama, and smooth commentary on puberty.
