Review of Ashik Kerib (1988) by Miles S — 15 Aug 2010
As always with Paradjanov, we are treated with a visual feast. No-one shoots a film quite like him. This one, however, seems like we're only seeing the occasional illustration to a much more detailed story.
Perhaps knowledge of the underlying tale adds context that I found missing. I'll definitely view this more times (and perhaps do some research on the story itself).
