Review of As Good as It Gets (1997) by Eamon M — 23 Jan 2010
An achievement. This was made more than a decade ago but still appeals to me, especially the humor. This was best known for its acting awards for Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt, but for me, the best thing about the movie was the story itself.
It's about how love changed an obsessive-compulsive and tactless person. I would have been delighted if this won the Best Picture award but it faced tough competition through Titanic. This movie proves that not only laughter is the best medicine, but also (What else?) love.
