Helen Hunt finally get a non-comedy role with some meat on it. She is a single mother and waitress at a restaurant in an upscale area of New York neighbor hood. She has a son with severe respiratory problems and a mother who lives with her and takes care of him.
Sideline: If your son has respiratory problems and your barely making it as a waitress, move out of New York. Nicholson?s convincing as a person with Obsessive Compulsive disorder, which is a glowing praise from a relaxed person surrounded by OCD?s in my family.
On top of being OCD he is sexist, racist and homophobic?. And writes trashy romance novels. Greg Kinear?s character falls flat not for his great acting skill, but for his character isa montage like creation of gay clichés it might as well have been I pronounce you Chuck and Larry.
