"You make me wanna be a better man".
Would you expect that from a miserly, discriminatory, obsessive compulsive man? Nope. But that's just the character that Jack Nicholson plays in this movie. Roger Ebert once said that we allow Jack Nicholson to get away with a lot of stuff, and this movie is no exception. Jack Nicholson's character is a very unpleasant person, but we just laugh along with him.
This movie has a great cast overall. I highly recommend it.
