Review of As Above, So Below (2014) by Sarah T — 31 Aug 2014
The title may seem forgettable but after seeing the movie it makes more sense. As Above So Below provided lots of scares and good entertainment. The main character Scarlet wishes to travel into earth to find the philosophers stone (Harry Potter much?) and seek the powers of it.
The documentary/found footage style of filming made it all the more entertaining and scary. While the ending may have been a bit over the top and a bit dumb it was a huge relief to see (Spoiler alert) some make it in the end.
In my opinion if I felt for the characters I enjoyed this movie and I did! As Above So Below really surprised me. B.
