Boring and predictable to the end. The story was bleak and confusing making a unnecessary complex plot for something that could have been replaced with a simple reason of exploring the catacombs of France.
The scenes were also predictable and replaced with low budgeted horror house scares that at the end were turned into punching bags for the main character. The movie eventually leaves you with a unsatisfying ending and overall feeling that you have just been taken for a cheap ride.
