Review of As Above, So Below (2014) by Mario D — 28 Dec 2014
It was better than I thought it would be! Another POV shot film where we follow along a film crew exploring the catacombs under Paris. Scarlett (Perdita Weeks) is looking for a hidden treasure under the streets of Paris.
She employs her camera man Benji (Edwin Hodge) and an ex lover George (Ben Feldman). Along the way they find three locals to help out, but after going through the catacombs they discover some very demonic things.
The film does a fantastic job of making you gel like you're in a cramped space. The film does have some very freaky moments (Especially the last 20 minutes), but isn't that scary. Overall, it was better than I thought and is worth a rent!
