Review of As Above, So Below (2014) by Alec B — 04 Jan 2015
To be honest, I enjoyed this film to a degree, I'm a fan of found footage style films as they give a suspense that a standard movie can't. That being said I did think the premise of the movie was a little ridiculous in as much as the only way these characters could get out was going through the world of 'hell' as the main character points out once they have trawlled through miles of catacombs, to find the mysterious philosophers stone.
The ending is weird as well, as you will find when they discover what they have to do to get out. Not bad but not amazing either.
