Dan Brown novel-to-film feel (linking this clues together with unnatural ease causing you to babble excitedly then just run around like a chicken with you head cut off in an attempt to get people more excited about it but it's just make the character seem an annoying, erratic, unattractive mess not fit to be a protagonist and more fit to be, at best, a nutty professor side character) + catacombs (cool) + not very scary (kind of trippy really, which was neat at times) + shaky cam (meh) = mediocre (at best) movie.
