At first I wasn't at all a fan of the documentary feel this has at the beginning of it, but it does make you wonder after a while who will happen to everyone and who might be able to make it out alive.
Honestly I didn't really start to care about that until a ways into the movie though, when the catacombs started to mess with their minds. TONS of religious references, if you couldn't figure that out from the title.
But I think they did a good job considering.
