Review of As Above, So Below (2014) by Brandon S — 06 Dec 2014
Critics be damned, even for all its unevenness and flaws, this movie was extremely claustrophobic, intense and genuinely scary. Even as the plot divulges into clichà (C)s, the chemistry between the actors is consistently natural and realistic, the sound design is great, and aesthetically it's very unique.
This is what happens when a talented director and naturalistic actors take on a so-so script. I thought it was great!
