An unexpected delight! Guess I'd forgotten how consistently charming Aardman films can be, even when they're not done in the inimitable toothy-grinned, chubby-fingered stop-motion style of Wallace & Gromit.
Aardman's real trademark is a mix of pithy wit and gentle humanity. Both are on full display here, so rent the DVD, fix a mug of cocoa, and enjoy. Happy Christmas!
