Review of Arthur Christmas (2011) by Gaspar O — 01 Jan 2013

A children's movie that portrays Santa as a borderline senile buffoon and his heir apparent as a heartless asshole? A supposed immortal character is now a multi-generational franchise? It's very hard to enjoy a kids' movie when only one of the main characters is remotely likable.

Extra half star for a few funny moments, but no amount of scenery, one-liners or sight gags is going to salvage my opinion of this mistake. Boo.
