Review of Arthur Christmas (2011) by Ded-Meet C — 18 Nov 2012

A nice GC-animated family movie in the spirit of the season. As such it is enjoyable and fun, but doesn't pack quite as much "Christmas magic" as the best of them. The movie is rather action-packed, perhaps at the cost of emotional depth and more christmas spirit.

That been said it IS still a very nice movie that does - eventually - build up that warm, tingly, christmassy feeling in you. Therefore I am torn between giving this movie a very good rating of 70%, or a somewhat harsh perhaps 60% rating, finally ending on the later (for now anyway) as the movie just didn't pack enough christmas magic for me.

I might change it later though, so all things considered, it is a very good movie!
