I haven't seen the original, but I found this to be quite an enjoyable comedy. It's certainly not great, but Russell Brand was hilarious and the writing was consistently witty throughout. Plus, you have the always brilliant Helen Mirren, Greta Gertwig & Jennifer Garner.
Although it wasn't the best comedy I've seen this year, I laughed a lot and I liked it!
