Review of Arthur (2011) by Bobby K — 14 Aug 2011
After seeing Get Him To The Greek and discovering that Russell Brand can actually act, I was looking forward to seeing this movie because in the previews it looked funny and charming. While it wasn't totally disappointing, it's one of those films that shows you all the best parts in the trailer.
It drags a bit, and by the end of the movie I just wanted it to be over. Russell Brand is indeed much less annoying and talentless than I expected him to be, but I wish the film as a whole had been better.
