Russell Brand was not playing Arthur, he was playing Russell Brand. Was this movie funny, yes. Was it hilarious, no. The plot was okay, didnt live up to the original. Is the acting good, yes, but Dudley Moore WAS Arthur and nobody can take that.
The movie was overall not good, I didn't laugh as much as I thought I would, actually they made it kind of sad.
